Into the big outdoors, dance, a massage and a tipple with home cooking
I'm caring, considerate and easy going, inspired by...
Environmentally friendly playhouses - Please visit www.playbox.co.uk.
Countryside - OS maps are like treasure maps to me; the treasure being some unspoilt brook, wood or vista, imagined along some red dashed footpath.
Dance - Love to. I used to go to all sorts of dancing lessons, mostly Salsa but also Rock n Roll, Cajun and Tango, even Five Rhythms.
Children - to see them play with abandon. They inspired me to write short stories about their adventures with the amazing range of playhouses I've created.
Music - what don't I like? Most bands that Jools Holland would host or Andy Kershaw would play. Really don't practice enough but I just have to pick up that guitar sometimes (songbooks to hand)...
Art - will sometimes want to draw a friend or watercolour a scene. I'm not really talented but it's making the connection that's satisfying.
Home - My semi by woodland is cosy but my father's farmhouse is idyllic in many ways - log files, a Rayburn warmed country kitchen - nesting Owls - table tennis - painting - relaxed conservatory conversation.
Green issues - I hate waste plastic so much I've organised recycling at work.
Exercise - The Aikido exercises are very hard to describe but usually involve two taking it in turns to lead or follow, like a dance only the one following is feeling for an opportunity to take the lead.
Running is good, Badminton and Squash fun, but table tennis table takes the biscuit. And then there's cycling; along riverbanks and canals, or following mountain bike trails.
The Sun - to see the moistened land awakening, shrouded in ethereal mists, echoing birds calls.
...or to see the cloud underbellies emblazoned with colour by the setting sun.
The Moon - Moon-bathing amongst the silvered stillness - love it!
